Discussion for the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea
This year we are significantly celebrating the 76th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, our glorious motherland.
There are many countries in the world and many records related to state building, but there is no invincible state like our republic which is advancing straight along the road of independence, the road of socialism, supported by the absolute support of the people and their patriotic devotion.
Over the past 70 years of long history of the great struggle and victory, the history of proud creation and prosperity of our republic is a precious fruition of the Juche-oriented idea and theory of state-building created and steadily developed in depth by the great leaders, the founder and leader of our republic, and the respected General Secretary.
Thanks to the Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building, our republic has emerged as the greatest invincible power in the world in which the leader, the Party and the masses are united single-heartedly, the Juche character and national identity are strong and the country is ever-victorious with its self-reliant defense capability.
The Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building is, first of all, the great banner that built our republic into an invincible socialist state where the party and the masses are united single-heartedly around the leader.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:
"Our socialism is invincible socialism in which the leader, the Party and the masses are united with a single heart. That all the people are firmly rallied around the leader in ideology, purpose and moral obligation and the whole society has turned into a great family in which all its members help and lead one another forward in a comradely manner is the essential feature of socialism of our style and the source of its inexhaustible strength."
The Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building clearly shows that the first and foremost strength of a socialist state is the might of the single-hearted unity of the party and the masses, with one ideology, one will and one destiny, centered on the leader.
The single-minded unity of the DPRK is an invincible weapon and an invincible fortress, and no force on the earth can counter it.
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea, by taking the Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building as its guideline, has regarded single-hearted unity as the mainstay of the revolution and firmly united the leader, the Party and the masses into a community of one destiny.
The DPRK ensures the position and role of the popular masses at the highest level, true to the noble intention of the great leaders to believe in the people as in heaven.
The idea of " believing in the people as in heaven", which our republic regards as the fundamental idea of state building and the starting point of state activities, reflects the noble spirit of love of the great leaders and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the spirit to regard the masses as the most precious and powerful beings in the world, to serve them faithfully and solve everything by relying on them.
By enforcing the politics of love and trust that put the interests of the masses above all else, the DPRK has regarded the promotion of the people's well-being as the supreme principle of state activities and thoroughly applied in its state activities the slogan, "We serve the people!". In no case has it ever tolerated bureaucracy that encroaches upon the people's interests or lords it over them.
In our country the socialist state takes care of the people's livelihood in a responsible manner, and all the people study to their heart's content, promote their health and lead a revolutionary and optimistic cultural and emotional life thanks to the system of free compulsory education, free medical care and various other popular policies.
Today our state is paying primary attention to the people's livelihood and concentrating all its efforts on stabilizing and improving their livelihood despite the shortage of everything and difficulties. It is stepping up the building of an economic power more dynamically in order to make our people lead a happy life with nothing to envy in the world in the near future.
In this course, the relations of revolutionary comradeship in which the Party and the leader love and look after the people boundlessly and the people absolutely trust and faithfully support the Party and the leader, the rock-firm single-hearted unity of the leader, the Party and the masses, have been formed and developed in our country, and the whole of society has formed a large harmonious family which helps and leads each other forward.
In the course of the struggle for building a powerful socialist country, the army and people achieved the great army-people unity with one ideology and fighting spirit.
Today our single-hearted unity is being consolidated and developed on a new level as a great harmonious whole in which the whole Party, all the people and the entire army are united rock-solid on the basis of one ideology and faith, comradely love and revolutionary obligation, centering on the respected General Secretary, and the politico-ideological might of our Republic has been further strengthened beyond comparison.
The might of the single-hearted unity of the DPRK, which is united as a harmonious whole of the leader, the Party and the masses, firmly guarantees the political stability and solidity of our state and society and serves as a powerful driving force for defending the socialist motherland and accelerating the revolution and construction.
It is the proud true picture of our society that the great flower garden of the single-minded unity of the whole society was built with the great idea of believing in the people as in Heaven and the politics of ardent love and trust in them.
The Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building is also a militant banner that has built our republic into an invincible independent state with strong Juche character and national identity.
The Juche character and national identity means independence, and the power of the country and nation lies in independence.
Being transparent in the Juche character and national identity is the fundamental feature of our republic and at the same time the main source of its invincible might as it is winning victory after victory despite the present world political upheavals.
The history of the development of our republic is the one in which it has chosen and implemented the line and mode of state building in our own way by regarding the Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building as its guidelines and embodying the Juche character and national character.
The DPRK has regarded it as its lifeline to preserve the Juche character and national identity in the whole course of state building and has not allowed any concession on this principle despite all trials and difficulties.
Under the wise leadership of the great leaders and the respected General Secretary, our Republic solved all the problems arising in state building, state activities, revolution and construction in our own way on the principle of self-reliance in conformity with the actual conditions of our country and the interests of our revolution, in accordance with our ideology, faith, determination and will.
The DPRK firmly established the principle of Juche, the principle of independence, in all fields of politics, the economy, military affairs, culture and foreign relations, resolutely rejected flunkeyism, dogmatism and all sorts of foreign-dependence ideas, resolutely rejected any interference and pressure from the imperialist reactionaries and outside forces, and proudly carried out its work in conformity with its guiding ideology and the demands of its people and in accordance with its own decisions, free from established theories and existing formulae.
By thoroughly embodying the requirements of Juche in state building and activities, our republic has completely eradicated its colonial and feudal centuries-old backwardness in a short span of time and emerged as a powerful country independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defense. It has demonstrated its might as a country with strong independent faith and courage in the international arena and a great independent country with great dignity and authority which no formidable enemy can dare to provoke and with great influence on the world political arena.
The DPRK has thoroughly applied the unique idea of preserving the national identity set forth by the great leaders in the state building and activities, thus becoming an invincible power strong in the Juche character and national identity.
In order to add glory to the proud tradition with a 5 000-year-long history and brilliant culture, our republic has set it as an important policy of the state to value and actively preserve the wisdom and talents of the nation, its strong spirit and patriotic spirit, the fine and beautiful national traditions and the heritage of national culture.
The DPRK maintains the excellence of the nation which has been formed historically, and, at the same time, creates a new excellence of the nation as the times and revolution advance. On this basis, it educates the people in the Korean-nation-first spirit that our leader, our Party, our ideology and our system are the best, and is adding luster to the greatness of our nation.
As the work of sustaining the national identity in all spheres of social life including politics, economy and culture has become a nationwide work and an all-people movement, our country is now demonstrating its might to the whole world as a powerful country of national independence and a country of strong national identity, which no other country and nation can match.
Next, the Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building is the great banner that turned the DPRK into an invincible socialist power demonstrating its might all over the world with its powerful military capabilities.
Independence, the lifeblood of the country and nation, can be defended and glorified only by arms. The reality of today, when the imperialists are engaged in all sorts of military high-handedness and arbitrariness, further confirms the validity of this truth.
The first and foremost power in a national power is military power.
The struggle against the imperialists takes place fiercely on all fronts of politics, military affairs, economy and ideology and culture, but the main front that determines the destiny of the country and nation is the anti-imperialist military front.
The confrontation with the imperialist aggressive forces is, in essence, a confrontation of strength, and without the powerful military capability of self-defense, it is impossible to fight against imperialism and defend the security of the country and the people.
Since its founding, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has firmly guaranteed the country's sovereignty and independence and prosperity and development militarily, upholding the great leader's idea and line of attaching importance to arms.
The DPRK was able to achieve brilliant victory in the three-year-long Fatherland Liberation War, which can be called the confrontation between an infantry gun and an atomic bomb, and build up into a powerful socialist country in a short time of post-war period because it held high the banner of self-reliance under the wise leadership of the great leader.
Chairman Kim Jong Il laid a solid foundation for strengthening the country's defense capabilities by further strengthening the revolutionary armed forces bequeathed by the President Kim Il Sung politically, ideologically and militarily.
By thoroughly applying the Party's idea on self-defense military in its activities, the DPRK has given top priority to military affairs and concentrated all efforts on strengthening its military power.
Our Juche-oriented defense industry is producing various military strike means of our own style at its will, and the climate of attaching importance to military affairs has been established throughout society and the preparations for an all-people resistance have been realized on a higher level.
The dignity and spirit of our powerful state and our people with the absolute power to end the imperialist tyrannies were once again demonstrated to the world on November 18 last year, which was recorded as a historic day of our national 5 000 year-history and a momentous day which will be brilliantly inscribed in the glorious history of our republic.
Unless the hostile policy of the imperialist allied forces and the source of the threat of a nuclear war are eliminated, our nuclear forces will take war posture and contain and control the enemy's moves and provocations at a high level, and, if an unexpected situation arrives, they will continue to carry out their important mission without hesitation.
Our Juche-based weapons, which have been launched into space, exercising dignity and sovereignty of our great state, are a proof of the immortal exploits of the respected General Secretary, a hero and peerless patriot, and a monument to be handed down to posterity.
Though the history of our country has lasted for 5 000 years, our national power has grown as strong as it is today, and the dignity and position of our country have never risen high in the center of the world.
Our country's geopolitical position remains unchanged, but once a weak state, which had been trampled down by the great powers, has now become the most powerful state that no one dares to provoke. This reality reminds us of the truth of history that a great man has the might of a powerful country.
Thanks to the Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building, our republic has demonstrated its dignity and honor all over the world as an invincible power which is solid and powerful with a strong military strength for its Single-hearted Unity and for its Juche character and national character.
Indeed, the Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building is a great banner that has turned our republic into an invincible socialist power by leading it to prosperity.
This year is a responsible and decisive year to create great war victory myths and miracles, and to demonstrate the invincible spirit of our republic, the spirit and inexhaustible strength of heroic Korea more vigorously throughout the world through the unchangeable path of independence, self-sufficiency and self-defense.
This year's struggle is a glorious and worthwhile advance to defend the authority of the Party congress and to further demonstrate the great tradition of victory and the absolute national position of our republic.
Our republic, which holds fast to the Juche-oriented idea and theory of state building, will be built better as a powerful country of independence, a nation in which the ideal of the people is realized in a comprehensive way, a great country that is advancing beyond the world with the full potential for infinite development, and the victory of the socialist cause will be hastened.
