The political situation in Europe is once again coming to a head. This is mainly due to the conflict with Russia, which is being fueled from outside, especially by the US, although it is by no means in Europe's interests to bring about such a thing. But why is that? It is because the internal contradictions are now sharpening all over the world, including in the United States, in a way that once again seeks to bring the internal contradictions to the forefront.
Although the escalation is taking place all over the world, it is once again becoming particularly acute in Europe, above all the contrast, or to put it another way, the rivalry with Russia is to be mentioned here, which in turn was and is being promoted primarily by the USA, which themselves, however, are also under internal pressure.
What to do to prevent this?
The peoples on all sides have no interest in such an imperialist conflict, because they would be the victims, that's for sure. But what to do? Above all, the antagonism must be sharpened internally - the only way to distract the ruling cliques from their plans for mutual destruction and perhaps even to dissuade them. This applies both to the so-called West and to the East – in the latter, too, the internal contradictions are coming to a head – which, for example, has caused Putin to embark on a debate about Ukraine. So far, roughly speaking, the assessment of this question.
But what to do to prevent that? Neither the peoples of Europe nor the Russian and certainly not the Chinese people have an interest in such destruction for the benefit of tiny ruling cliques on all sides. Means should therefore be found which might be able to prevent it, which, however, cannot be an easy undertaking. Nevertheless, an attempt should be made, above all by increasing contact between the different peoples of the affected regions. How this can happen has to be thought about and ways and means of realizing it have to be found, especially before it is once again too late. Our organization is urgently interested in such contacts, among other things because Europe is once again intended to play the role of victim, especially on the part of the USA,
At the time, our organization criticized Soviet revisionism and social-imperialism like no other left-wing organization in this country. But if the situation changes and other international reactionary forces come to the fore, then it is inevitable to take this into account. But that can hardly be said at the moment in the case of organizations in this country that see themselves as progressive and even left-wing.
Our group is currently one of the few to criticize these aggressive moves on the part of the West towards Russia. This is dangerous and should change. It is inevitable that a broad front of leftist and progressive forces will be put up against these efforts. And to do everything to ensure that these aggressive machinations are defeated.
The Ukraine war is currently the main focus for those forces to justify their aggressive aspirations and pursue the insane plan to instigate and justify another war of aggression against Russia. This must not succeed under any circumstances and should be a motivation - not only in our country - to do everything to prevent this.
But where can you find a left in our country that pursues this goal? This should change before it's too late.
