Freedom for comrade Abdul Rahman Khalil

On July 10, departments affiliated with the so-called “Self-Administration” in northeast Syria arrested Comrade Abdul Rahman Khalil, the nominated member of the Political Bureau of the Syrian Communist Party and a member of the People’s Assembly (Parliament), due to his participation in the electoral campaign for the People’s Assembly (Parliament). Comrade Abdul Rahman refused to sign a pledge not to participate in this campaign in exchange for his release.

We condemn this unjust and abusive act by circles affiliated with the American colonialists towards a citizen exercising his constitutional rights.

We demand his immediate release.

We salute comrade Abdul Rahman Khalil for his firm stance.

Glory to the patriots who challenge the aggression of the colonizer and the oppressive actions of its agents!

Syria will not kneel!

We learned with great concern that on July 10, armed units affiliated with the so-called "Autonomous Administration of Northeast Syria" arrested Comrade Abdul Rahman Khalil, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Syria.

The Kurdish separatists who control the so-called "Rojava" region, and who also act in Europe to confuse the left, have once again cast their mask as collaborators with U.S. imperialism in anti-communist repression.

This is serious because it targets a member of the Syrian parliament in an attempt to prevent him from running again. The Communist Party (Switzerland) express solidarity with the Syrian communists who struggle with all patriots in safeguarding the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Arab Republic of Syria.

The Kurds are a nation. But in their struggle for national liberation they have decided to side with the imperialists.

This road does not lead to national liberation but as comprador whores for the imperialists
